ABOUT STRING WORLD


String World was founded in 1976 by William Sultan. William has his bachelor's degree in performance and a MS degree in communication. He taught violin and orchestra for 30 years in Maryland and New Jersey. He has played professionaly in various orchestras including Assistant Concert Master of the now Bay Atlantic Symphony

He has studied string repair at Hofstra University under Samuel Kolstein and other Long Island violin makers. He studied with Sinichi Suzuki when he first came to the United States in 1965. William is a professional violinist, educator, and now a violin dealer.

String World has been serving musicians in the Delaware Valley and South Jersey for 31 years.
